Motor Vehicle Apprenticeship (Day Release)
Who is this course for?
The course is aimed at 16 to 24 year olds who are in employment within the motor vehicle trade. The course gives you the opportunity to gain simulated hands on experience within the motor vehicle workshop.
What will I learn?
The course consists of:
Foundation studies
Chassis & routine maintenance
Engine technology
Transmission technology
Electrical and Electronic technology
I.T.
Literacy
Numeracy
Can I enrol onto this course?
Students require 2 D's at GCSE or Level 1 motor vehicle.
When will I need to attend?
Day Release - one full day a week for 72 weeks.
How much will it cost me?
The course is free to students as it is funded through LSC and employer contributions.
What do I need?
For workshop activities boots and overalls are essential.
