Components of Beauty Therapy Level 3

Who is this course for? This course has been designed for part-time learners. The course develops the practical skills and knowledge required to perform an Indian Head Massage.
What will I learn?

The course consists of:-

Working in beauty therapy

Monitor and maintain health and safety in the salon

Consult and advise clients on treatments

Provide Indian Head massage

Can I enrol onto this course? It is recommended that you have a Beauty Therapy Level 2 qualification or salon experience in a practitioner role.
When will I need to attend? 3 hours per week for 16 weeks.
How much will it cost? £320 for over 19yrs plus an overall at £15. Under 19 years tuition is free when on a full-time course.
Can I get help with my fees? Free remission available for under 19yrs on a FT course. No remissions for over 19yrs.
What do I need? Resources will be provided. A text book is recommended.
Can I get help with travel costs? If you are 16 to 18 years old, live in Lincolnshire and this is your nearest college you may apply for transport from Lincolnshire County Council if your home is more than 3 miles from the college.  If you application is successful you will be required to make a contribution towards the cost of the transport before a travel pass is issued.
Can I get help with childcare costs? No, only students on full time courses.
Can I get an EMA? Educational Maintenance Allowance (EMA) can be applied for, on the internet at: http://www.dfes.gov.uk/financialhelp/ema/
What can I do after this course? This course will entitle you to perform Indian head massage when working in a beauty or hairdressing salon.
