Diploma in Administration Technical Certificate

Who is this course for? This course has been designed for Level 2 Modern Apprentices and someone wishing to begin a career in Administration.
What will I learn?

The course consists of three mandatory units and two optional units:

MANDATORY

Unit 201 Business and communication systems

Unit 202 Legislation in the business environment

Unit 203 Develop self and organisation

OPTIONAL

Word processing

Spreadsheets

Databases

Using the Internet

Presentation graphics

Integrated applications

Can I enrol onto this course? No formal qualifications are required, however, good communication skills and a positive attitude are expected.
When will I need to attend? Based upon individual needs.
How much will it cost me? 17 & 19 year olds on a full-time programme or an apprenticeship will pay no tuition fees. If you are over 19 years and not on an apprenticeship the fee is £680 including City and Guilds registration costs.
What do I need? Employed status and attend one day per week at college.
Do I get paid? You will be given a training allowance per week.
What can I do after this course? Successful candidates can progress to the Advanced Diploma Level 3 and enhance their job prospects.
