LEVEL 3 Award in Body Massage Using Pre-Blended Oils
Who is this course for? This course has been designed for part-time learners. These courses develops practical skills and knowledge required to perform a full body massage.
What will I learn?

The course consists of:

Working within the Professional Beauty Industry

Monitor & maintain Health & Safety in the salon

Consult and advise clients on treatments

Provide body massage or Provide massage using pre-blended oils
Can I enrol onto this course? A Beauty Level 2 qualification, or an ITEC Anatomy and Physiology Certificate.
When will I need to attend? Body Massage - 3 hours per week for 20 weeks
Using Pre Blended Oils - 3 hours per week for 20 weeks.
How much will it cost me? 18 & 19 year olds on a full-time programme will pay no tuition fees. If you are over 19 years the fee is £400.
Can I get help with my fees? Free remission is available for under 19 years on a FT course. No remissions for over 19 years.
What do I need? Resources will be provided for body massage but there is a kit fee of £60 for massage with pre-blended oils.
Can I get help with childcare costs? No, only students on full time courses.
Can I get an EMA? Educational Maintenance Allowance (EMA) can be applied for, on the internet at: http://www.dfes.gov.uk/financialhelp/ema/
What can I do after this course? This course will entitle you to start your own business as a massage therapist or working in a salon, cruise ships, health spas, etc.
